Product Safety & Recalls
Last updated: August 2026
Nothing matters more to us than the safety of your little one. Babbez chooses baby, children's, and toy products with care — but every child is different, so please read this notice together with the safety information supplied with each product.
1. Age recommendations & choking hazards
Every product is intended for a specific age range, shown on the product page and/or its packaging. Some products — and many toys — contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years due to the risk of choking. Always check the age grading and any warnings before giving an item to a child, choose products appropriate to your child's age and stage, and keep small parts, packaging, and any detached pieces away from babies and young children.
2. Always supervise & follow instructions
Adult supervision is recommended during use of our products — especially toys, feeding items, and sleep products. Please read and keep the manufacturer's instructions, assemble items fully and correctly, inspect them regularly for wear or damage, and stop using anything that becomes broken, loose, or worn.
3. Safe sleep
For sleep products such as swaddles, sleep sacks, and blankets, please follow current safe-sleep guidance from recognised authorities (for example, the American Academy of Pediatrics). As a general rule: keep the sleep space bare for babies under 12 months, never use weighted swaddles or weighted sleep products on infants, and stop swaddling once your baby shows any sign of rolling. Our Medical Disclaimer and each product's own guidance also apply.
4. Children's sleepwear
Children's sleepwear is subject to flammability rules in some countries (in the United States, for example, it must be either snug-fitting or flame-resistant). Please follow the fit and care guidance provided with each sleepwear item.
5. California Proposition 65
For customers in California: some consumer products can expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Where a product requires a Proposition 65 warning, that warning is provided on the product page or packaging. Learn more at www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
6. Product recalls
If a product we have sold becomes subject to a safety recall, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers and share the manufacturer's instructions. If you believe an item you own may be affected, stop using it immediately and contact us. You can also check current recalls with your national product-safety authority — for example, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission at cpsc.gov/Recalls.
7. Report a safety concern
If you ever have a safety concern about one of our products, please contact us straight away at support@babbez.com with your order number, the product, and a description or photo. We take every report seriously and will respond promptly.
8. Not medical devices
Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, our products are consumer goods and are not medical devices; they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
